Ever wondered where the Dow closed on a certain day in history?
Today I wondered this while compiling a story on how the market did on Election Day.
I found this site: http://www.djindexes.com/mdsidx/index.cfm?event=showAverages which allowed me to compile data showing readers where the market closed in 2002, 2004, 2000 and for s and gs, 1994, the last time a major congressional power shift occurred.
